Zelda Theresa Allen, 50, of 1205 Harris Drive, Elizabeth City, North Carolina departed this life on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City, North Carolina, She was the daughter of James H. and Doris O. Allen. She received her education in the public schools of Elizabeth City. She is survived by her devoted son, Jeremy A. Barclift. Her parents James and Doris Allen. Her siblings, Col (Ret.) William A. Allen and wife, Helen, Sgt. Maj. (Ret.) Ronnie E. Allen and wife, Franscene, Linda Briggs and her husband, Wilbert, First Class Petty Ofiicer (SE Ret.) Michael Allen, and William D. Allen and wife Pamela. Nephews, William (Billy) Allen, Winser Allen and Ronnie (Ron Ron) Allen. Nieces, Felecia Allen and Sholando Davis and a devoted Niece, Lativia Allen. Two Great Nieces, Taneyll Allen and Amaiya Allen. One Great Nephew, Jeremiah Allen. Two Uncles, Hercules Allen and wife Carolyn and Joseph Tyner. A devoted cousin, Felecia Williams. A special friend, Gene Pollard and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2:00 P. M. at the Good Shepard Lutheran Church, Elizabeth City, North Carolina with Pastors Mark and Nadine Ridley officiating, Viewing will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 5 until 9:00 P. M. in the Chapel of A. C. Robinson & Son Funeral Home. Calling hours and Viewing will also be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Good Shepard Lutheran Church from noon until 2:00 P. M.
