Obituary for Terrance Lynn Sylvester
Terrance Lynn Sylvester 48 of 112 E River Landing Apartments died on October 26, 2017 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Clarence and Barbara Williams Sylvester. Terrance attended the public schools of Elizabeth City - Pasquotank County and was a member of St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church . He had been employed as a Short Order Cook.
Terrance had a loving and nurturing spirit and was survived by four children he raised as his own; Rodney Brooks, Latesha Brooks, Laquisha Brooks, and Shamalice Rodriquez all of Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Four Sisters; Michelle Chamblee (Barry) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Kimberly Brinson ( Rufus), Tarsha Sylvester, and Angela Sawyer ( Romal) all of Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and a special brother Anthony Blanchard.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 4, 2017 at 12 noon in St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Ricky Banks, Burial will follow in New Oak Grove Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 P. M. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at all other times at the home of his sister and brother in law Angie and Romal Sawyer 1015 Maple Street, Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
