Mrs. Rosa Deloris Gary Northcross 82 of 2001 Johnson Road, Elizabeth City, North Carolina entered into eternal reward on Friday, May 16, 2014 in Sentera Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The daughter of the late Richard and Beatrice Scott Gary she was born in Norfolk, Virginia. She was a graduate of College of Lake County in Chicago, Ill. receiving the degree in X Ray Technology. She was employed as a X Ray Tech by the Veterans Hospital in N. Chicago, Ill. until her retirement. Rosa was the widow of Johnny M. Northcross. After retirement she moved to Elizabeth City, North Carolina where she joined Corner Stone Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She leaves to cherish her memory One Son; Rodney Mitchell and his wife Kathy of Chesapeake, Virginia. One Brother; Richard Gary and his wife Edwina of Suffolk, Virginia. Four Grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2014 at 11:00 A. M. in Corner Stone Missionary Baptist Church. Viewing will be held from 9:00 A. M. until 11:00 A. M. in Corner Stone Missionary Baptist church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Corner Stone Missionary Baptist Church in memory of Rosa Northcross.
