He was the son of Percy Daniels of Manteo, North Carolina and the late Mary Elizabeth Webster.
He also leaves to cherish his memory; One Son, Richard Thurman Tillett, Jr.; One Daughter Teshia Sykes; Twelve Grandchildren; Four Brothers; William Percy Daniels, Lindsey Warren Saunders, John Leon Saunders, and Alander Liverman. Five Sisters; Debbie Lindsey, Priscilla Jones, Carla Walcott, Clara Jean Wilson, Phondia Saunders - Morning.
He was preceded in death a daughter Tye Leary, brother Daniel Wilson Saunders.
