Obituary for Patricia Ann Mitchell Williams
Patricia Ann Mitchell 80 of 1559 Millpond Road Elizabeth City entered from Labor to Reward on Tuesday August 25th on US 17 South Winfall North Carolina.
She was the daughter of the late Clifton and Maggie Gordon Mitchell. At a early age she joined The United House of Prayer for All People South Mills North Carolina and remained a faithful member until her untimely demise. Educated in the Camden County North Carolina public Schools she was a graduate of Marion Anderson High School. She continued her Education at Elizabeth City State Teachers College were she earned a Associate Arts Degree. Patricia was employed by the Camden County Schools were she served as a Para Professional until her retirement. Having the entrepreneurial spirit she was also a licensed Cosmetologist and prepared many ladies hair in the Albemarle area and beyond. Patricia loved to cook whether it was for her church of family and friends who visited her home she would feed you with the love she carried in her heart.
She leaves to cherish her memory; One Daughter, Connie Yolanda Williams of Elizabeth City, North Carolina. One Son; Corey Dean Williams of Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Five Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren. Two Sisters; Hawaii Johnson of South Mills, North Carolina and Geneal Willie of Norfolk, Virginia. One Brother; Melvin Mitchell of South Mills, North Carolina. She was also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside Services are Saturday, September 5, 2020 10:30 AM at Westlawn Cemetery by Elder S. B. Watts, Officiating. A Wake will be held Friday September 4, 2020 at United House of Prayer for All People South Mills, North Carolina from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
