Parker Davis 94 of 426 Chapanoke Road, Hertford, North Carolina transitioned from her earthly body to God's Heavenly Place on Thursday, August 27, 2015 in her residence after a lingering illness. ��A native of Perquimans County, North Carolina she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Hattie Riddick Parker. ��Raised in a Christian home she was a lifelong member of Porters Chapel A. M. E. Zion Church Hertford, North Carolina. ��She was the loving wife of Albert Davis, Sr. who loved and cared for her until her death. �� She leaves to cherish her memory One Daughter; ��Dorothy Combs of Elizabeth City, North Carolina.. ��Five Sons; Albert Davis, Jr. (Michelle), Preston Davis (Edith),Charlie Davis (Bonnie) all of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Percy Davis (Ruby) of Rainbow City, Alabama, and Jerome Whitehurst (Elizabeth) of Brooklyn, New York. ��A Host of Grandchildren. ��One Sister; ��Mary McCrea of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. ��Four Brothers James Parker (Esther), Josephus Parker (Louise), Leoindas Parker and Linwood Parker all of Hertford, North Carolina. ��A host of other relatives and friends. Funeral ��services will be held on Wednesday September 2, 2015 at 2:00 P. Rev.
