Mrs. Margaret Cole Baker 92 of 1758 Oliver Avenue Chesapeake, Virginia entered from Labor to Reward on Monday, February 3, 2014 in the Chesapeake General Hospital, Chesapeake, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Solomon and Annie Brown Cole and was born n Elizabeth City (Weeksville), North Carolina. Margaret was the widow of Rufus Baker. She moved to New York and worked as a clothing manufacturer, After retirement the Baker's moved to Chesapeake, Virginia. She leaves to cherish her memory: 2 Brothers: Hercules Cole, Sr. of Elizabeth City, North Carolina and Clayton Cole of Newark, New Jersey. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday February 12, 2014 in New Oak Grove Cemetery by Rev. Elsie Cole. Interment will follow. Viewing will be Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 5 until 9:00 PM in the Chapel where the family will receive friends.
