Mr. Jerome Rodgers, 75 entered from labor to reward on Sunday, February 8, 2015 in Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation 901 S. Halstead Blvd.Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Md. the son of the late Henry and Susie Hall Rodgers. He was an Army Veteran. He is survived by 4 Daughters; Yasmine Crouch and Jerona Rodgers both of Springfield, Mass., Suzette Rodgers and Chanelle Garriott and her husband Darren both of Louisville, Ky. 1 Son; Justin Rodgers and his wife Denise of Elizabeth City, NC. 2 Brothers; James Rodgers and his wife Francine and Richard Rodgers and his wife Darlene both of Scotland Neck, NC. 9 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Funeral service for Mr. Rodgers will be held on Saturday 11:00 A. M. February 14, 2015 in Evangelistic Church of Deliverance, Weldon, NC. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Rocky Mount Memorial Cemetery, Rocky Mount, N. C. Viewing will be Friday February 13, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of H. D. Pope Funeral Home 520 Smith Church Road, Roanoke Rapids, N. C. The family will receive friends at the home of his son and daughter in law 104 Green Run Court, Elizabeth City, N. C.
