Obituary
Elizabeth Adams, better known as “ Mrs. Pig” was born on January 6, 1930, in Pasquotank County to the late James B. Adams and Sarah Doxey Adams. On Sunday, July 18, 2021, she departed this life in The Citadel of Elizabeth City, Elizabeth City, N. C.
She was a faithful member of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church.
She was employed at several businesses. However, her last employment was at Farm Fresh in the Seafood Department.
She will be remembered for her willingness to give and to help comfort everyone she could.
She was the fourth of six children of who preceded her in death: Alexander Adams, Sr., James B. Adams, Jr., Marjorie Winkefield, Johnnie Adams, and Sarah Bell.
She was preceded in death by, a son Dave “Slob” Adams one sister-in-law, Helen Brickers, and one daughter-in-law, Joan L. Adams
She is survived by: two sons, Jimmy Adams ( Dr. Bonzia Caison), James E. Adams, both of Elizabeth City, N. C. One daughter, Vickie Bell of Elizabeth City, N. C. One Goddaughter, Maggie Skinner. Fifthteen grandchildren: Thirty- five great- grandchildren; twelve great- great - grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, other close relatives and many, many, many friends.
We shall forever miss her, we do not grieve like those who do not have hope.
